I am a business graduate from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. A few months ago, I hosted a local chapter of the world’s largest social impact competition in Singapore – Hult Prize, and interned at Ashoka. I want to work on Education because I believe it is the ultimate tool to level the playing field for everyone, aside from Early Childhood Development. First, I would like to learn more about how STEM has benefitted other countries in the region and how they are operationalizing STEM education into their education system. Next, I would like to know what are their benchmarks and inspirations other countries have modelled after executing STEM or other education initiatives. Lastly, I would also like to know the complications and hurdles, and past solutions that didn’t work as well as STEM to fulfil the mandate of the government or country.
