Leakhena Khon is a counselor for the Healing and Reconciliation for Survivors of Torture during the Khmer Rouge Regime Project at TPO. She started to work for the Project since October 2016. Working as a counselor, she travels often to rural communities in Cambodia to provide counseling and psychosocial support to survivors of torture, as well as to facilitate basic mental health training to resource community people. Before working for the Project, she began her career as a clinical assistant for TPO’s Treatment Center in April 2016. Leakhena graduated from the Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2016 with a BA in Psychology and University of Cambodia in 2016 with a BA in International Relations.
