My name is Ly Vannmei. I am from Cambodia. I finished my Bachelor degree from Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2016, majoring in Biochemistry. I currently work as a science club and lab officer at Nesson Cripps Academy. I am interested in learning about new technologies and innovations. Reading books and playing sports are also my favorite personal activities. I also enjoy traveling to other Southeast Asian countries. I am passionate about STEM education because it plays a vital role in a country’s economic and global competitiveness. STEM programs and activities help students to understand the concepts related to our daily life, improve abilities in critical thinking, and guide them to find good future careers. This will lead them to develop and create new innovations. I look forward to a future with new advances using STEM technologies in Cambodia.
